A both sound and visual experience by Michelle Agnes Magalhaes and Lola Malique with the collaboration of readers of Abdellatif Laâbi’s poetry.
« Ouvido suspenso » is a collection of hybrid situations, involving music, poetry and theater. Michelle Agnes Magalhaes (composer) and Lola Malique (cellist) propose a dialogue with the language of Abdellatif Laâbi, Moroccan writer exiled in France. The theme of the show is the poetry itself, shaped by its performers, the anonymous readers of Laâbi’s poetry through “homemade” videos sent to both musicians.
